History

The founders, James and Michael Tambakis have successfully operated this business concept in the CBD precinct of Adelaide since July 2003. Prior to this current venture, James and Michael created and built from the ground up, one of Adelaide's and Australia's most popular breakfast and lunch destinations.

James and Michael, over eight years of ownership, not only set new standards in the breakfast industry, but continually grew their successful business and profile by being pro-active in a niche market. They now will repeat this success in the espresso bar, specialty coffee market. This successful business built the platform for their next dream!

James and Michael had a dream to open un caffè bar, that is ONE coffee bar, with a distinct cutting edge transit design. This bar would serve the world's best commercially available espresso and associated products, inviting the consumer to "experience the culture". The brothers' dream was realised on July 4th, 2003, in Rundle Street, Adelaide. They now continue their dream and are opening an un caffè bar in many more populated cities in Australia and abroad.

The founders largely attribute their success to a strong family background, where working hard and working together came naturally, and to this day it is these values upon which they base their company philosophy.
